Last week we attended the Tyne and Wear Commercial Property Show at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. It was a great event that gave us the opportunity to catch up with a few old contacts, and make some new ones. We were able to push the Arrow Business Centre, too.

Research undertaken by Arrow Commercial has revealed that Charles William Alcock, the founding father of international football and the FA Cup, once resided at 10 Norfolk Street. The story made headlines across the region last week, and even popped up on the England 2018 website.
Football aficionados have long been aware of Alcock’s contribution to football, but his story had been largely forgotten in Sunderland until redevelopment work commenced at 10 Norfolk Street.
Some might argue that this leaves Sunderland with a better 2018 host city claim than Newcastle. Not us, of course. We’re completely impartial!
A development project undertaken by Arrow Commercial has been let to Julie Elliott, Member of Parliament for Sunderland Central. 10 Norfolk Street is prominently located in Sunderland’s regenerated Sunniside Quarter.
